These workshops are FREE to all Region 6 members. Peggy Gram is a second-generation Sweet Adeline, and began singing barbershop in Little Rock, Ark. At age 15, she officially joined Sweet Adelines and became director of Top of the Rock Chorus by 22 — and directed the chorus for 43 years. She served as International President from 2008 to 2010, on the International Board of Directors, and as Showmanship Judge Specialist. Peggy is a two-time International Quartet Champion with Ginger ‘n’ Jazz (1987) and Rumors (1999), Master Director, Certified Judge (Showmanship), recipient of the 2010 President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Master Faculty Member, and coach. Peggy Gram is also well known for her collaboration with Dale Syverson, Charla Esser and Darlene Rogers on the Sing, Baby Sing CD series. Workshop 1: Friday, July 23 at 7PM How to Give Yourself a Vocal Lesson Lessons in how to do self-evaluation of your own voice and then learn to be proactive in developing your own vocal skills. Workshop 2: Saturday, July 24 at 10AM How to Prepare Like an ‘A’ Level Singer What does it take to catapult your chorus into the next level? We learned about personal vocal skills on Friday night. On Saturday morning, we take it to a whole different level!! Workshop 3: Saturday, July 24 at 1PM Characterization Creating a strong characterization can transform your music in all four categories, not just Visual Communication! See examples, discover the how, understand the why and free yourself to take your performances to new heights! Join us on Zoom for these three great workshops!
